That's exactly what these last two days have been! My hubby was able to come to church with us yesterday. The love he received was overwhelming. It was so touching. They lined the driveway at the building with signs welcoming him home and letting him know how much they loved and missed him.
In addition to welcoming him home, we had a welcome home/going away for a couple at church. The hubby is in the Army and is being stationed in Alaska. We're sure gonna miss them!!
Today, K went to Paragould to work at the Children's Home there. She's only staying until Wednesday. A group from our congregation go every June to help out. This is her first year to go. She was very excited!! I know she'll have lots of fun.
We spent this afternoon with hubby/daddy! We had a wonderful time!! We're looking forward to his days off when we can spend time together as a family. Family time is very important to us right now. There aren't enough hours for us, so we make the most of what we do have. This is so much better than what we had, so there is NO complaining here! We know this is temporary which helps a whole lot!
Last Wednesday, June 2, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! Neither of us can believe we've been married 20 years. Time has flown by!! I love you baby!!
Our oldest son graduated from high school May 20th!! Wowsers!! It's gonna be weird when the other 3 start their back-to-school stuff in August and he doesn't. November will be here soon enough....ugh! Too soon!
We are so blessed!
